Suggestion: Implementing a ECC jail for users who spam and use vulgar language.
Reason: As some of you may know, I am currently banned for griefing. I have basically spent all of my time on forums and thinking of suggestions. I came across an idea that I have heard of on other servers that can help the mods clean up those spammers who trash our public channels. A very easy solution it to give a mod the /mute command, which automatically teleports them to a jail building. They must remain there for 10 minutes of active time (Must have the minecraft window open, and active in the jail sell) and are completely muted. This will prevent them from repeating thing such as ads, or vulgar language. If they are caught doing the same offense again, then the player should be banned. I believe that having this jail would help the felons get punished, and they will not be able to immediately return from a /kick to continue what they were doing.
Any Other Information: Please read the description on the plugin. It explains what a user will have to do to gain active time.

I know, I requested for the other one to be locked. I posted this one because on the last one, people said it would be possible for the prisoners to remain afk an get out of jail. If you go to the link, it explains that prisoners will still have to be active to get out of jail.

However, it is still far more difficult to get out of this jail, then it is to return from being kicked. That takes a matter of seconds.

I disagree with the Jail system because I feel like it discourages players completely, not just from the bad behavior. Lets say Player A comes on says a curse word and gets kicked. He then comes back and goes about his merry way, now fulling understanding we won't tolerate cursing. In an alternative universe however:
Player A comes on, says a curse word and gets jailed for five minutes. After about a minute or so he just says "Nevermind" and logs off our server, never to return again.
Had I ever been put in jail on ECC when I was a builder, I don't know if I would have stuck around. It would have honestly been disheartening as oppose to a kick. A kick tell you what you did was wrong, but we are still giving you a chance to put it right. It like a cop giving you a ticket instead of a night in jail. The only difference is, you can log out of the jail and decide you never want to play in this world again.
TL: DR: I fear this system would severely discourage new players.-

A jail is the worst punishment out there when it requires you to be active. This is why it won't work, tempbanning someone for 1 day is less bad than 1 hour of jailtime. You would literally waste a whole hour of your day just to play. This leads to people quitting right away instead of waiting out their time. I've seen it happen on ECC and on many other servers.

I don't want a jail, if there was one, I would have to go there everyday when playing on ECC,
jk.
If someone was in jail, they can just be afk while waiting, like reading a book or watching TV, or etc.
