Creative mode has no place in our server. We are here for an economy, and a hardcore one at that, there is no reason to allow people to build whatever they want without having to spend money. If that is what you are looking for play single player creative mode. This is all about the competition, the power struggles, the financial problems, the rises and falls of basically financial power houses.

 

This is how I feel about this idea :)

But in all seriousness I don't see a point in it. If it costs the server more money to stay up we don't need it.

 

Question: If everyone can have creative mode then what desire is left to try and build cool things in the main world? What motivation? By not allowing creative mode you are encouraging the use of the economy system. I am currently making a build that will cost me 4.3million not including the price of the land I put it on. If there was a creative mode why would I even care enough to build that in the main world? What I've been doing has stimulated the iron portion of the economy and encouraged people to actually mine iron. This applies to other projects as well. Skylexia's Redstone town took something like 1million redstone dust. If she could have done that in creative mode why would she even consider doing it in the main world?

Basically, I believe that creative mode would kill the server's main goal, economy.
