    Can't you make a privat chat in your town? I thikn it should be allowed as long as you tell people in your town to leave the chat if they don't like the chat?

    The reason political discussions are not allowed on ECC is because it is a touchy subject for some people and can cause heated arguments. Adding a channel to discuss this in will cause these arguments. Even if users are able to leave the channel it doesn't mean that they won't get angry by a discussion before they do leave the chat.
