Economic balance.

It's not blocking you from making money, its blocking you from making too MUCH money, too fast.

Sure everyone thinks making 80k an hour is great, until 4 days from now when you have eco leader, 18 towns and nothing to do. Why do you think every mmo has a grind, because it keeps you interested in the game and to keep you playing. In this game we dont have levels, but we do have money. Its the only measuring stick that we have to see who is ahead of whom.

It does no one any good to just hand players the end game on a platter.

I think they main problem Kyle has (correct me if I'm wrong kyle) is the hard limit on income. It is very annoying for someone to go out spend the time find a new way to make money besides farming, and have it made worthless as soon as anyone in server administration here's about it. It's also annoying to people who find new ways to farm just to have there extra profits nerfed as soon as staff hear about it. As much as I love the server the thing I dislike most about it is the hard limit of 20k an hour. It just doesn't make spence to me. Why 20k? What is the problem if someone can make 25k an hour. Having a hard limit on income is just so annoying. I understand your desire to keep people playing by not handing them the "end game" but that shouldn't mean we set a hard limit on income. - written on iPod. So yea, lots of grammar mistakes.

 

There is quite a difference from being able to make 25k an hour to being able to make 80k+ an hour.

 

You are correct, I fail to see anyone asking to be able to make 80+k an hour though.
