Ok, so if we take out buffer, and we get on to elemental, right? At that point we would want Fire Aspect and Flame to not be on the sword and bow, because regular users can't get enchanted weapons. But at that point it eliminates the whole point of the kit. So take away the strength increase that buffer provides and it doesn't have a purpose anymore. At that point it's nothing but wasted money. And jeez, your signature is really distracting.
130% strength buff is the potion they get. Take a regular stone sword which is 3 hearts regularly. Drink the potion, that's 7 hearts. I see your point of view. With Gold armor, that's 4.5. Gold armor is easy to acquire. So, although it is very strong, it is not that 1 Shot material. That is only with a diamond sword or stone sword with Sharpness I(I). So if anything is to happen to buffer it should not be that it is removed or heavily nerfed, to but prevent using it with another kit. Which can be done so when you use a kit (1.) You use a kit that is not buffer it locks you from the buffer command as long as you are in the game. (2.) You choose the buffer kit and you are locked out from other kits for the remainder of the game. This provides buffer to be worth while and still not making people annoyed with it.
Buffer has also been nerved twice in the past 3 months. Before, Buffer could 1 shot (with a critical) someone with ElementalAwareness or PerfectFit. Now, after the nerfs, it takes 2-3 critical hits or 4 regular hits to kill an ElementalAwareness user with Buffer. Spy is still a one shot with MIQ on a critical, but a 2-shot if you mess up. CC takes 2 hits on Spy with Buffer, many times three. And, it takes close to 4-5 hits to kill someone in ElementalAwareness with Buffer and CC. Plus, it's also the strength potion in Buffer that's "OP". The rest of the kit (healing, region pots, and speed) take time and practice to really use effectively. Some of the best players I see on ECC's SG aren't on the top leaderboards, but PvP well with potions when given to them. So, don't break the rest of the kit for the users when it's really the strength potion causing the problems. One more thing: you say nothing compares to Buffer in terms of OP-level....ElementalAwareness boots on Arena 1, MIQ's Power III bow, Grenadier's 0:45 poison potions, and CC/EP's fire aspects is all I have to say to that. All off ECC's kits have OP tendencies. We also need to remember that ECC's SG is really more of a kit-PvP atmosphere. The more kits you have access to, the better chance you have to win. Not saying at all that people without kits can't win (a few of my clan mates are excellent no-kit players), it's just much more difficult to do so.
I am a buffer+ user and after reading Goblizz's reply, i think maybe the strength pot should just be taken out. It is OP. Although it isn't as strong as it used to be, it is still ridiculously strong and I'd rather see it removed than nerfed again.

Well, you are comparing the two, but you're saying that buffer is not slavery, as slavery is harash thing.
Analogies are a form of comparison though so... And I actually wanted to post to inform something. I hated buffer before the nerf. With a burning passion. I bought it to hang with the top 25 (which I have since fallen out of because of it). But, now that it's been nerfed for a month or two now, I've personally heard a lot less complaining amongst older users about it. It's fixing itself in a way. I still maintain to keep buffer and instead change the name of SG to something along the lines of KitPvP.
Also, @somkar8, I am just stating the fact that many people doubted things, that actually did happen.
