If we are going to do this to hackers, we might as well scammers...

But seriously, if you are banned for PvP hacking for the first time, you should get the standard 3-6 days. If you are convicted again, it's a month tempan at the minimum. And, a third time is a permaban (or a ban only appealable to Physicistsmom and jakey).

3 strikes and you're out is a classic system that would fit this perfectly.

 

You know maybe sometimes people who are experienced with knowing how to detect and deal with hacked clients will know more than you and when they say it was lag or there is not enough evidence it's because it actually was lag or there isn't enough there to make an accurate decision.

 

I wish they did this, there's people who have been banned twice for hacking and can just appeal again, and probably still hack.

 

Stricter punishments? Sure. But like everything else, it has to go on a case by case basis. There are a lot more factors that go into it then just whether or not they are hacking.

Everybody deserves a second chance. Now when they do it 3 times or more, then I would want a perma ban
