+1. Looking through the rules, you aren't supposed to afk or 'halt gameplay' so I think this would be a great addition. I hope this suggestion is actually taken into consideration, rather than it being lost in the forum.
-1 because the name of the game is survival games. Meaning you do everything to survive. I have personally climbed the vines in sg2 and still would bow fight people. Why is climbing the vines different from someone dropping an invis potion and just hiding? From what ive noticed is that even on the vine spots you can still be killed.
They are talking about how you can break the vines so that no one can get to you causing a stalemate.
I got that. But in the spot they are talking about a player can still be killed. During the SG cup i tried to fight from up top and just got bowed down
Fair enough. My point wasnt that there isnt. Sorry if it seemed that way. What i was trying to say is that not all vine locations are that way. So not all of them should be changed
+1, Either replace all the vines with ladders, or make vines un breakable. I see lots of people climb to the top of the nether and go either in the statue or ghast up there. They then go to the top of either statues and break the vines and simply sit there, making games unable to end, or very long, which makes the other person leave. Yes, I understand that it's called 'Survival Games', but there is no reason to camp, and then stopping the game from finishing. I understand that the whole point is to survive, and you could do so by camping. But, you could also just find a place to hide, or find a good chest route, and you'll be good. I really like this suggestion, I hope it will be able to be implemented.
1 ladder line to make them easier to snipe as they climb for 45 second to attempt to kill you. Same goes for the water of the old mining world. It's very easy to puppy guard an area that you can move only 3 blocks on at a slower pace than a ladder (referring to the spaceship tower). Camping in general is just cheap, if you camp clearly you aren't playing sg for the stats nor the fun of the game and only care about the currency to be split (hopefully). Thus I believe the final say to be to those who actually move around the map and play the game, rather than stay on a platform 64 blocks in the sky.. +1 to non-breakable vines
Whether you like it or not, "puppy guarding" is legit tactic. You have the privilege to buy a kit with a bow to snipe them or spy sneak up it. You getting bubutthurt due to losing to campers is not reason enough to justify the removal of the strategy.
