The rules clearly state that if you are in vanish, and you attempt to shout, then it may not work. If you want to shout, just unvanish for a secound.

If you dot want to lose another 1k then dont shout again.

 

Why circumvent the problem when we can simply solve it?

 

I don't have investigator, but I wouldn't have a problem with the change. If it isn't possible/difficult to code, I'm against the idea. If this takes a 50% effort of less for the fix, I'm for the suggestion. Otherwise, '/v' takes one second to type, it's not a big deal to type twice :p.

Its 1k, in my eyes its kind of like a fine so you don't do it again. Unvanish and all the problems will be solved. Again, you can prevent the devs from doing more work by typing /v

 

This may seem a little drastic but this is like /ci, the command is clearly stated and what it does, this is similar to this problem. Given the responses on suggestions about the removal of /ci I am hesitant to say this will be changed.

 

While I agree it is stupid even though I don't have it, I know when you click the feature it states that it will charge you and not shout

If it was just the simpliest of fixes, I would think that instead of explicitly stating the issue in the rules, they would have implemented the fix. Since they made a point to mention the issue, I don't see the problem with the way it is.

Then again, many things change, and perhaps the warning has outlived its usefulness. I'm not an expert in minecraft coding, so I honestly don't know.

However, Emau has a point. If it was a simple fix, it would have been fixed by now - not mentioned explicitly in the rules. I'm guessing it is something that only the plugin people can fix, rather than by KHobbits or other devs who work for ECC.

If it was fixed, that is fine... But I do not think it needs to happen. It isn't like it's totally destroying the gameplay or economy.

 

Ok. If it is such a simple fix then why don't you fix it? I don't think you realize that this isn't something where you type 1 letter and everything is magically fixed.

 

I'm not the slightest bit upset. I am irritated that you want someone to spend time (A decent amount I assume) fixing something that you can solve by simply typing 2 keys.

It may be a simple fix, however that doesn't mean that it won't take time. This time could be used for fixing/adding something 1000 times more important.
