Suggestion: Have a way for regular users to track how many forum warnings they currently have, and to have their specified ban reason on the ban reason.
Reason: last month I received a 3 day forum ban (relatively) out of the blue. It was frustrating to a)not know exactly why, and b) not know that I was (still in this case) so close to a forum ban.
Any Other Information: When a forum ban is issued, it says "banned due to rules violations". It should be changed to something more descriptive and precise. Like the exact thread and post that received the warning. Once the user is banned they have no way to check which post got them the final warning and the ban. Please don't respond with "well don't get warnings to begin with" because yeah i know im workin on it.... >.<

(-1) It's sad that people need this. When your banned it means "Time to think about what you did wrong" so if you don't want to get banned in the first place then don't do anything wrong.

Getting too many warnings results in an automatic forum ban... Not sure those ban reasons can be changed for each individual ban. Best bet there is to do some forum searches once your ban is lifted to find where Staff warned you verbally, or check your PMs. I'm guessing Staff-issued bans show their reason typed, but I'm not sure. :/
As for warning numbers displayed privately... I believe it already does this? Could be wrong, but it should show in a side module on your profile somewhere. If not, forum warnings send you a PM; just keep track of them.
If private display isn't enabled for users, then I think it can be... Likely a permission that can be given to user groups.-

Well, assuming you get auto banned by the forum due to too many warnings, this means you were given 3 warnings within a certain period of time amounting in 3 points. 3 points = Forum Tempban. The staff do not control the automatic temp ban system. That being said, you do receive inbox messages every time a forum warning is given. I would simply suggest writing down the date and time or something and keeping track of your forum warnings yourself.
Now that being said, not every single player will be able to do that, however, the only people who tend to skip the 3 point process are people who have messed up severely. Therefore, I would argue that keeping track of your warnings on the forum would be the best plan. In the event you deleted the messages or for some reason, don't remember, you can PM a staff member. We are capable of seeing your current # of warnings and what they were for. We can easily help you out with that.
The only other better suggest I have is that you simply try not to get forum warned. I know it seems obvious and all but clearly, it isn't a good thing. I would just rethink how or what you are saying and hope that you could rephrase or simply realize it shouldn't be said.

I understand that the forum bans are automatic and that the staff issuing the warning have no control over whether or not it will induce a ban. That is precisely why there needs to be a better way to track how many infractions one has.
For the record I have never received a forum inbox warning for any of my 4 infractions. Thus the 4th one that caused a second 3 day ban was a big shock to me and very frustrating. I believe the systems isn't working as intended.
And that is exactly what I am have been trying to do since I received my first forum ban. It's difficult to do that when I don't know precisely what I am getting an infraction for. Because like I said, I never received a forum PM about any of them. But I'm trying. I'm not engaging with people that I disagree with because they view it as "harassment", I'm not saying I disagree with posts where I disagree because they will tell me to "not post here"
I am trying. -

Alright, I'm a little confused. Every forum warning is suppose to automatically make an inbox message that tells you what you were warned about and what content it is. I know it does it because I've had people reply to the inbox message. -

There is no reason you shouldn't receiving the message. We don't air warnings publicly but the players should be able to know if they have been warned.

was this the "this is dork not flaming" conversation?
I initiated that conversation
it was generated automatically or by you.
What are you referencing kuke? -

I am not sure what kuke is referencing but if it is the "this dork not flaming" conversation that was my most recent infraction and resulted in my second forum ban, then it was a conversation that I initiated at the end of my ban
