I like the idea but it would be sad to see people who advertise free plots for builders either not posting or charging new builders to compensate themselves for the ads they have to run....

Its a good idea but I don't think its totally fair on everyone.
But then nothing every is.

 

Builders won't get a plot anyway as the poster will be afk.

 

I'm pretty sure Mission was referring to people who are not AFK.

My honest opinion on this:

• Don't make trade ads paid for, I couldn't afford to offer my services I do for free (tips appreciated :p) with paid trade ads
• Increase the time to 5 or as admiral said 7 minutes
• Or if you don't like the spam, @kukelekuuk00 there's always /ch leave tr then it won't bother you at all :)

 

Disable ECHO, KEYDOWN, KEYUP, KEY and there you have it - We successfully blocked autofarming and AFK people spamming trade.

This is a "Hardcore Economy Server" after all, right? You should be putting effort into your shit. All I literally see coming from these commands is spam and making money illegally.

I use it in an anti-spam macro, repairing, a custom /online type macro, kit collection, sell all junk, custom mcmmo stats stuff, a mining macro (sells junk, smelts, collapse, stack), a macro I use on server restarts to fix chat and lotto/sg spam, various command macros assigned to keys (/near, /wb, /feed, etc), buttons to tp me to various saved places, and I use it to automatically enable fly/nv depending on what world I join.
As Eek stated, as a /home when on low health and 314 uses it in his sg macros, and used to in his stats macro (RIP //calc).

 

-100. As many have said, echo is plentiful of legit uses, and the same can be said for the other three commands: for instance, I use the latter in macros that help me in building big structures, saving my right hand from wearing out due to never-ending clicks.
Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater please.
Also: I'm not sure whether the server may be able to distinguish manual keypresses from macro keypresses; and even if it was, I'm pretty confident that the press command would just bypass it.

 

The fact that there is a rule in place that no money can be made while offline or afk excluding loans, means that this trade macro may even be contradicting even that basic idea. Love using the macro but I never enter trade chat. I am always only in local, no other channels because macros ruin a lot of the experience tbh. I want to talk to real people, not robots.

 

I really do wish the "powers that be" could make a decision one way or the other and lock these type of suggestions so that there would not need to be endless bumps.
I still agree with this suggestion except that I still feel it needs to be every 5-7 minutes for the record.
