I have 5 towns of which I am the only resident. I took a four month break from ECC and have now returned and am quite active in the community again. My towns include several high-grade farms (including the server's best reed farm) as well as a build utilizing diamond/gold/lapis blocks worth approximately half a million dollars. If your suggestion were to be adopted I would have lost everything, and for what? The world is 30k x 30k now - that's enough space for over 20,000 towns. Nobody really needs that land, and it adds to the history of the server to explore old abandoned towns. And you never know, people could always return--I did.

i think there should be town removal for towns you OWN not for offline members.. town removal would be free so people wanting to quit can easily remove them
Yeah, or you could sell it to a friend, dump the money in lotto, and quit. If i quit the server RIGHT NOW, i know who both my towns would go to. One i would give to a friend, the other i would sell to the nearest president for whatever money he has on hand. Getting rid of your town when you quit is a bit selfish
Like Blink? -_- FIrst floor portal, dead ahead, basically just a flattened town, worth hundreds of thousands in potential, and all it's mayors and residents have been off months. I've given up on this suggestion long ago, only reading now because I've been alerted twice, and tbh it was only a suggestion to begin with. Btw on the Blink place, still great as I made my town right next to it so now I have a new, first floor, first ring portal town
