Well, minimal effort is needed to farm right? You just hold down left click and go back and forth. Use of a pumpkin axe can make as much as a star rod in an hour. Both require minimal effort, yet you're getting less value for your money with a star rod. However I do agree with the idea that each fish should only be raised by $5 in price, as a $10 increase would indeed cause too much inflation.

First off, you're not even supposed to tag phys on the forums, so.,.. Also, how can I be positive to something that's negative?

this is still going to cause inflation however. Even though it seems like it won't, it will. Star tools in it of themselves have single handedly inflated the economy. Simple solution, don't get a star rod. If you don't think it makes enough money, then don't buy it, simple as that.

Also, get rid of fishing treasures. They are worthless and have no use in this game.

 

Worthess? worthless? - How can you call a $.05 wooden tool worthless? And you are probably going to tell me you don't like it when you get two poison potions in a row - right? :p

 

Actually, they're good in the economical sense. Lower the amount of income made by a person fishing, I'd like to see them stay.

 

From what i understand, treasure decreases the amount of people who will try to cheap for economical gain using fishing as there inventories will fill up quicker.
Thats the only reason i really see treasure back.

I would like to see a slight increase of price for fish, maybe $5, if that, but the treasure is clearly there for a reason.

I am not taking a point on the price but instead replying to this post. Star rods make people get fish faster. If there is a guy w/ a star rod and a guy without then the guy with the special rod will get more fish. I don't have exact numbers but if you get 5 times as much with a star rod then you arn't losing anything if they raise the price. This is because it just gives better prices for fishing but star rod people can still fish and get more of a bounty.
