I'm actually not that poor? But this suggestion argues that if you are rich, you get to break the rules. That doesn't work on ECC. Just like if you are a donor, it doesn't mean you get to break the rules either.

We come back to the word "need". If you really "needed" it then you wouldn't of gotten banned in the first place.

We can't play the "let's hope game" as said before. Some people may find this as an oppurtunity.

I completely understand the value of 500k. By using this suggestion, breaking the rules becomes a product.


I think it's clear that this suggestion isn't going anywhere.

Well guess what? That is your fault for spamming in the first place. We shouldn't make a way get out of consequences just because they have money. If you broke a rule then you should have to suffer the consequences.

 

Well... I just read over all of these comments/posts. I don't think its a good idea. I feel like "Give the wealthy what they want, let them pay to get off early" is a terrible plan. Also OhMrsKittyKat, I disagree that players don't 'plan' to break the rules. A good portion of the time they know what they are doing is wrong and plan to do it. The only thing they don't plan on, is getting caught. That being said, when they are caught, they should without a doubt have to deal with the time they are given. I don't see andrew changing this and I hope he doesn't .

 

Instead of getting yourself unbanned quickly, don't do anything to get banned.

This will not be accepted because this is a ridiculous suggestion with the sole intent of avoiding or shortening punishment. This is not how it works and this is not how it will ever work.
