Whilst I do see the benefits in this, I like the option of being able to type my suggestion out myself, in my own format.

As long as we still have the option of that, I'm fine with this suggestion.

 

Let's not make writing a suggestion as complicated as filing taxes. It's not hard, why does it need to be easier? If it cant be understandably formulated into a few paragraphs then it's better not to post it until you figure out how to.

Down with bureaucracy.

 

Comparing the tax code to a simple suggestion format is a silly thing to do. It makes things easier and it doesn't take that much work to implement, so why not?

Anyway, if anything, we should be comparing the rules to the tax code instead. They're overly complex, long and filled with loopholes. Sounds like the tax code to me.

Maybe I could agree with the suggestion if you could explain to me what the groups/options will be. Because I feel like stuff like suggestions doesn't always fit neatly in one category or another and if you have a "misc." category then every person who is every mildly confused by the other options will put theirs in the "misc." section anyway making the sections pointless. But perhaps you have this thought out better than I have.

 

I'm sorry obble I swear I am not being deliberately dense here but I still don't understand what the choices would be. I looked at the suggestion forum info thread andrew made again and it says

So I don't see what could possibly become five different categories here, do you mean that we should reformat the form so it has the option of providing the above as a form you can fill as the only option aside from one without a format?

Because on the complaint forum you have file a complaint, file a ban appeal, and file a staff complaint as well as the two archives making the five options. Ban appeals/complaints/staff complaints are really straightforward different topics I don't currently understand what you mean to make the other options into on the suggestion format. Or maybe I am missing the point and you didn't mean anything but an extra option just to fill in a form that looks like andrew's format above as well as the existing suggestions and free format suggestions making sort of 3 categories not 5.

Forgive me, I am confused.
