i like this idea because it allows kit users to go by unnoticed a little bit more cause whenever you see stone sword you know it's a kit but this eliminates that assumption
No, mainly because if someone bugs out of the survival games he gets a piece of armor worth alot of money.
Only problem I see is that one of the kits has a stone sword with just unbreaking 3 - which is the equivalence to a stone sword without enchants, either fix that kit and add the basic stone sword, or not add the stone sword at all. That is my thought because that kit would be worthless then.
+1 this won't affect the power of kits as Miq can easily take out an iron sword if your skilled enough and it gives the other players more of a chance and a little more of a reason to play without kits.
Gold Swords actually have a very important use. There are a lot of minecraft noobs out there who believe gold is better than iron. Idk why, i have killed quite a few using gold when they have iron in their inventory.
It has unbreaking which means that it is still a better sword. Not to mention, I doubt anyone buys that kit specifically for that sword. Just because those noobs exist doesn't mean we should ignore something that would benefit our survival games.
So, could you see this being added in the future?... as you can see many others would like this. BUMP
I very much dislike gold swords as when I kill them, they have like 20 and my invent can't hold them all and it's frustrating and by adding stone to replace gold would be awesome! It provide that extra challenge in SG that this server needs! +1

Im not an avid SG-er myself, so i'm not sure why unenchanted stone swords were not present in the first place. I suppose that may be the question to ask before trying to add them in. And also, as far as some of the comments about adding cobwebs or leaves as placeable blocks in the game, I draw attention to the humble Melon block, which had once been available in chests for placing and was removed for some reason or another, perhaps because it would cause users to reach nearly unreachable areas and drag games out, or perhaps users were getting out of gaps in the arena (I know I did once or twice). Cobwebs though... cant climb cobwebs... if they were breakable, that would be an interesting toy... slow down the invisible user who just snuck up on you, or trap someone who has a superior sword while you sprint for escape! +1 to everything, so long as nobody brings in big reasons why it cant be done!
