But its basically the same as the regular lottery. You can just sell the stars for money, buy tickets, then buy nstars again with the winnings.
Untrue This isn't for getting money, it's for getting netherstars. If a giant 1000 netherstar lottery popped up and i won, there i go, melon sword.
Lotto is programmed to do this I believe I was reading the old source code by Khobbits and I believe in the annotation it said that /lot claim was a command to claim items in an entity lottery.
Well there is a difference. When I win, I'm not winning money, I'm winning netherstars. What if i wanted a black record? What if i wanted a portal block? Those rarely, if ever, go one sale for ecodollars. If we go with your reasoning, we can get rid of any other type of lottery because "winning $$$ is the same as winning item"
I fail to see the point you're trying to make here. Money is our universal means of payment, why make a lottery with netherstars if you have a lottery with money, after all, you can do more with the money than with the stars, you can buy the stars with money. It's the same in the end.
Okay okay, make me spell it out. It's a lot easier for me to 6 ticket a big lotto then to 2 ticket a big lotto right? Lets assume, there are 50 nstars in a lottery, you also put your 6 netherstars in from voting. The chances of you winning are fair for a lucky win. Now lets convert that to money. Assuming you get max price for nstars, 350 a piece. There is 17.5k in the lottery, and you have 2 tickets in from your 6 netherstars... It's really annoying when I prove myself wrong by explaining why I'm right... But anyway kuke, this suggestion is really old, probably not gonna happen. I'm sure we have better things to do then sit here and debate who's right. In other words you were right and I was wrong....
Aww... I was about to refute you, and then I see in size 1 font as I'm quoting you "In other words you were right and I was wrong...." : D
