I wouldnt like this. I bought kits to win more. Winning more equals more money. Winning more doesnt equal more money if everyone is playing on the 'tear 1' sg map and my kits are worthless. This would make all of the users play on teir 1 (because of no kits). I have seen people suggest, "make a map for no kits, make half of the day no kits, make this no kits that no kits," and everyone likes it. BUT, you never see it happening. Because, i think, andrew know that everyone will play the no kits gameplay, and never the kits gameplay. -1 because this will basically make the $150 i spent on kits totally worthless. Does anyone agree with me?
+1 I don't have any kits at the moment but are considering buying a few. If this change is implemented I will definitely have to buy some.
the only thing i have against this is that this would be limiting players that have alot of kits from playing alot, i would say Tier 1: No kits are available for use (or just vsg) Tier 2: CC, MIQ, Buffer, and Spy (kits that grant weapons and/or potions) kits are not available for use. Tier 3: All kits are available Tier 2 is probably up for debate, but i agree with the system whole heartedly, i hate starting an sg match and just getting destroyed because someone with miq and spy killed me with 2 hits with half iron armor on.
So you say you don't like getting killed immediately. Theres two things (practical things) that you can do. 1) Find a new chest rout and new strategy. You must adapt to the economy and kit users- maybe buy a kit or two, or try to team with a few people. Maybe join a clan. You could watch some youtube vids on SG, or ask for some helpful advice. 2) Quit the game. But you don't want to do that! Go with number one! The only reason why i didnt have a 3) go with this suggestion, is because it would really, really hurt me (and many other user). What i mean by this is that i get my money from SG. If there aren't people in SG, i have no way of actually getting that money. And even if there are a few people, they most likely would have bfrpp miqpp spypp pfpp and all of that stuff. You could just tell me to join 'tier one'. But, i bought kits. I really don't want my kits to go to waste. So, i could join tier one but lose my value of kits. OR, i could join the other ones that enable kits, but i would make much less money as well as have a much lower kill and win rate. So, the main subject i am trying to get out is that this will ruin my, as well as other kitter's, kits and money income. If SG doesnt get changed as the way you would like it, maybe SG isnt for you. If your playing for money, but you cant afford kits, just go mining. If your playing for fun, i would recommend buying kits or buckling down and figuring out a solution to your situation. Again, -1 for me.
why put people at the same level with people who can afford to do so? nowadays most matches are kits against kits so i doubt you would be losing competition. and its not like you get stuck into a single tier, all tiers are always available to all users, its just that one you cant use kits, the other you can... i just think kits take away from the point of survival games. And since its based off the hunger games movie, it would be like if someone was given full bulletproof armor and a gun, while the others are stuck with spears/swords, it just isnt fair, and if you bought to win more, go buy more kits and play against other kit users with better kits, same concept right?

See, thats where you went wrong. You even said it yourself, right there in that quote. We have 'survival game' or SG. No one really calls it Hungergames or HG. When i join other servers, SG always has kits. But i have honestly never seen a HG with kits. So, 'HG' is based off of the real movie, and 'SG' has some modifications. Kits do not take away from the point of the game at all because we have an SG.
And heres where you are wrong. Go into an sg and type /ch hg and tell me what happens. the concept is based off of the hunger games, just because its called sg on our server does not mean anything.
Just because 'HG' is programmed into the plugin doesn't mean that it actually is Hungergames. Sure, maybe one hg command works, but that is because that plugin is used for many different things -- im sure that HG command was just something that the developers on ecc forgot to remove. We have Surevival Games, Not hunger Games. There is a difference. Back to the main subject of this thread - Kits are meant to be here, their meant to be OP, their meant to make andrew money, and their meant to stay.
Its there because the whole concept of survival games is an evolution of the hunger games concept. And yes, kits are meant to be all powerful, so why not let some people play a few games not having to worry about it. That is the number one main reason why alot of people dont play sg, they dont have a chance to win or even get skilled at it. if people got to play without kits in their game they would want to get kits to make more money.
But what would that do to actually benefit ecc? Andrew makes no money, and my kits, my income, my irl money, *poof*. Gone. Could you please give me 2... no 1 reason why this should be implemented.
Other servers have kits, but only minor advantages, such as starting with a knockback II stick. I dare you to try to find a server with kits that come close to as overpowered as the ones on here.

Alright guys, this is meant to be a suggestion thread, not showing who can quote more people. Please stop that and the flame, there is no need for it. Further posts here should only be original thought / counter ideas from my original suggestion.
