So... I agree kits a way too overpowered and just generally ruin the game. If you go on any other sg server, not without kits, but with a more balanced kit system, it is one hundred time better. Some of you may ask what is this "more balanced kit system?" Well this kit system runs off of in game credits, making them achievable for everyone not just donators. And these kits do not ruin the game yet donators still have an advantage. Donators get about 6,000 credits if you donate for the max rank and you can buy some kits with that. They also get the compass just like on here. Now, the kits are:

Tier 1 chest
Tier 2 chest
Tier 3 chest
Bow with 3 arrows
Fishing rod
Skeleton spawn egg
Blaze spawn egg
Wolf spawn egg (donors)

Now, you would spawn with all these kits in the beginning and can place the chests down just like normal loot the chest and then the chest is gone.

This kit system is a million times better because no one has a huge advantage you just get 3 chests off the start you normally wouldn't. So all in all my vote for this suggestion is +1 Good suggestion.

 

Buy kits and get on their level.

 

The only time I could agree with a no kit SG Lobby is if you made 0 Cash off of it. If you don't want to deal with the people who financially support this server and just want a fun game, then there is no reason to win cash or earn points. We currently have a 1/8th chance arena system set up which gives MORE money in no kit games. Why? Because you don't get to pick that. Its simply random and it could happen to any match at any time.

KHobbits currently has a thread up to discuss the nerfing of Buffer. That being said, overall, I don't see kits getting nerfed nearly enough to make everyone happy. After all, how do you keep everyone happy? You have one side where if you nerf to hard they'll get upset. And then you have another side of the argument that doesn't believe there is a 'too hard'. So, the administration has been trying to find small ways to nerf things without causing giant problems.

Basically, we have taken steps towards a bit fairer of games and probably will take more. Lets see what the future holds.

Let me just put this out there….maybe a compromise. There is obviously a problem with making a specific lobby where no kits are allowed…that, as other people have said makes all the non-kit users go there and all the donators to the other lobbies and ruins the purpose of the advantage….makes sense, right? So….how about this? You make a system where every 30 minutes or an hour or however long one of the lobbies becomes a non kit lobby AND the winner only gets half the money they would usually get in a normal lobby. This compromise allows for a money decrease so its not an issue for donators that say "hermahgerd the noobs get just as much money as us" AND it only happens every 30 minutes to an hour so that it is just a nice refreshing game for those that don't have kits or for people that just enjoy the fun of SG without the money factor. I for one LOVE Hunger games on other servers….because they are servers that have a SPECIFIC hub for SG that doesn't affect the other hubs such as town or survival or whatever. They still get tons of people playing it because it is for the sole purpose of FUN. Just change it up a bit and allow a game every 30 minutes or so just for FUN! No advantages…No huge money rewards…just FUN!

No b/c ALL no litters would go to that arena whenever it is kit free and the kitters (people that help the server run) lose TONS of money for however long the arena is kit free.

 

not really….XD I said it is 1 game every 30 minutes to an hour….that is 1 frickin game in 30 minutes or an hour. If you can't give that up for your kitting then it is a pointless discussion. They do not lose TONS of money….they barely lose anything for the joy of some non-kitters for a small amount of time. You are being just plain selfish in every way, shape, and form if you think that is "stealing all your money"
