I agree with this completely. Deathmatch always ruins an awesome streak.

+1 I don't know why the 10 secs count in the first place, it should be fixed.

Well this would just make it easier to get killstreaks which ruins the fun

 

Removing artificial stops to a killstreak like forcing the player to stop moving shouldn't be thought of as making killstreaks easier to get but correcting a game element that stops killstreaks that are actually happening from counting. The player has been and will continue to get the correct number of kills within the correct amount of playable game time but if this suggestion gets accepted those killstreaks which were unfairly taken away will now be given correctly.

The difficulty of getting killstreaks will not change and rarity will technically remain the same but now will correctly get recorded in game.
