I doubt entities laying on the ground ever causes much lag (correct me if im wrong :p), so adding clear lag wouldn't really help anything lag wise. Also, I have played on a few different places that has clear lag - i am always picking stuff out of a pile, and boom! It gets cleared.
Honestly, we don't really need it. If you need to dump some stuff but don't feel like putting it on the ground, try putting it in a chest :)

Items laying in SG dont cause much lag, as its not like it is thousands of items, and they are gone rather fast aswell, I dont see the need for this. Also please note, plugins running on a server, can cause the server to run slower than it was before, even if they are meant to reduce lag :p

Believe it or not, dropped items can play a crucial role in SG. You can find better stuff, tell where users are, and it can be used as a trap.

SG maps should already re-fresh. Meaning everything gets rolled back, all blocks chests etc. Including entities. So I don't undertstand the point in this suggestion, unless you have found entities on the ground - In that case maybe a Bug report?
