This would be neat to have, though it might be just as good to have new players spawn in the tutorial.

 

Perhaps, but I believe typing /rules isn't a really difficult thing :p

You wouldn't need this plugin as it is now possible to do with with the latest essentials update. The problem with this suggestion is you end up with a ton of useless books.

*wooden tools, stone tools, dirt, rule books* Gotta go dump it in the trash...

 

It's been suggested before I think and it got denied, As if the book was implented there would be no point in the wiki, and a lot more can be done with a wiki then just a minecraft book

 

Maybe a book that says to go to the wiki.

I really don't see why you would need a whole new plugin for those I think it's configurable in the essentials files to be able to add a book to anybody knew that join the servers inventory but I don't know if you can actually have something written in it but this is a good idea +1

 

Yes, you can have stuff in it, I've seen it on other servers. They used a dispenser though.

 

but if we had a dispenser doing it if somebody did slash spawn at that time the dispenser would go off and give them another Book plus all the people that are going through spawn at the time
