If there are this many people that would enjoy it, why not add it. I don't see myself using it as much as others but if it makes the users happy than why not. It's all just for fun. Believe it or not, there are people that think minecraft is stupid. I mean... you have to pretend. What kind of video game is that?

 

Drinking "healing potions" and wearing "enchanted armor" is realistic and not pretending at all?

I don't understand why you are against this idea. I would think if you DIDN'T like role-playing you would be FOR this. It would put all the posts associated with role-playing in one place that you would never have to go to. In a place so you wouldn't have to read it. If you never wanted to read the thread, then this would be a perfect solution.

By putting a -1 on the idea, you are saying that you would rather see these types of posts scattered around the threads you currently read. This would subject you to having to read them (at least enough to realize what they were). There would not be a set place to do this.

By shooting the idea down, you are actually setting yourself up to be subjected to it.

You are the 2nd most disrespectful person I've seen on Minecraft in general, which is REALLY saying something about the 1st person.

Well back to the point at hand. This is a Mmo where a lot of people have themed towns. I personally would use this forum section for many things. For example, my military threads, war declarations, and American (The town) political threads could go there. Further, I intend to make a 9 town Kingdom with its own politics, Kingdom rules, court trial, and much more. I think this thread would encourage that type of 'story' behavior which I know many players already enjoy.

 

Bump - The Current on going war between Bremen and OstBerlin is a perfect example of something that needs to be in a roleplay forum section. I mean it has its own newspaper.
