The primary thing we have to worry about damaging are e-reps, and McMMO Repair skill won't bother e-reps at all (IMO). This is because of the relatively high chance of losing/downgrading your enchantments with McMMO Repair. McMMO Repair skill gives another place to remove diamond/gold/iron/etc from the server. I don't know if the Salvage skill is a good thing or not.. does fishing need a boost like this?
I like this idea, and you worded it very well. I guess my main concern would be how this affects the markets though.

Bump. Totally didn't find this at the bottom of the pile and thought it was a good idea to get feedback. That aside, I think this suggestion could be useful to help with fishing as well as put a purpose to the hundreds of pieces of unenchanted armor people have found through looting.
Bump; found this one at the bottom of the pile. With fishing becoming a (slightly) more common moneymaker, the repair skill could help increase the $ per hour, and open a door up for repairs for builders.
Totally a +1 so there is like no pay 2 win. Maybe allow pay 2 win in sg and that stuff but give players an opportunity to win with no pay as free kits sg, etc.
