The reason it was put in place was to block out random trolls/advertisers from coming onto ECC TeamSpeak.

Also, you don't just join the TS server before joining the minecraft server. lmao

The purpose of the privilege key is to stop random trolls from coming on and breaking the rules, an application process allows the numbers of these people to be cut down massively. When I was on staff I was asked many, many times for privilege keys by perma-banned users, they wanted them because they wanted to troll and abuse some of the people on the server (For the record, I said no). So it's a -1 from me.

 

Just a tip, if you want your post locked, title edited etc you can just report the thread and all the staff members will see it. I've just reported the thread because of your lock request for you, so a second one won't be necessary,
