Love this idea!

 

I'm all for the idea of a market redesign. I would like to see this made into a competition, similar to the spawn building competition so we can use WorldEdit. If the market was redesigned I think serious consideration should be put into ensuring the "premium" market places are equivalent in the new design, so users who have spent a lot of money buying the best market places don't lose their optimum spots.

 

I think this is a great idea. The market right now is.... blech. So I'm all for this!

This needs to be implemented.

 

+1 this still needs to happen the old one u could actually make money off shops the current design is bad.

 

I want the numbers to be organized, that's all.

 

That to the whole market is screwed up right now we need a build contest for the new one.

I think will be the next priority after the hub is finished has progressed has started.

 

Yeah, let's have a build contest for the new market! I would really like to see the community build a market.

 

My opinion is Fix the main server first since its the main server before we go and try getting more players with the hub lol

Our market still is terrible we should really redo it... just do a build comp and get it over with...

while im not against a re design what happens to existing shops with things in them? I have around 500,000 blocks in signs in my shop and I have no desire to move all of those.

 

Same thing as the first time we rebuilt it the first time you simply just have to move your stuff for the better of the server:D The current market is to spread out and confusing for new players the shops are not even in order this will overall help you make more money because people will find the shops easier.

 

I agree sometimes we need to accept to change to - 1 improve the server and usability of it but also sometime a fresh change can bring a bit of life back to the market where currently it would appear to be lacking. And as pointed out above having a number system that works

 

The current market is boring and ugly and I hate it.

That being said, Nicit hits it on the nose in that it probably won't be something we should be allocating resources to anytime soon.
