    I hope this wasn't sarcastic- are you serious.

    You probably are one of the people that "don't care", but why should those that actually care get outweighed by those who don't?

    People care about ratings; some people appreciate them and it is a great side something to reward you for good posts. The community benefits by supporting good, thoughtful posts for ratings. But then again, we could have a trollish, careless, bad communitied forum if that's what you wish.

    Perhaps those particular words were not the best way to get my thoughts across. I simply do not think trophy points/ratings are a big deal, if some users would like to pay others to rate them I am honestly not very concerned. There are too many ways ratings can be abused. In the eyes of the community, I believed people are judged not because of how many ratings they have, but because of how they act. Someone like this looks like an idiot, despite the fact that person has a lot of ratings. I still would view them as such. Frankly, if someone will pay me to like their post, I will take the money and run. However, someone cannot pay me to change how I think of someone.

    Citing the example you've given, you're proving the point you're trying to argue against. The point of the suggestion is so we as a community can allow ratings to remain a bit... sacred, if you will. We want ratings to be not bought, but earned, and such to be done on a platform where they do accurately represent someone.

    I would ask a GA to delete,
    and the ratings will not count as revan said earlier
