Good Idea it is pretty easy to get I got Mayor in a week :O

 

The number of new towns popping up is a little frightening, a raise would slow this down and increase the value of towns generally.

EDIT: Don't hold me to this but I roughly counted 20 new mayor applications since Thursday.

 

I really am against the raising of the prices. -1

 

I agree, once you go and raise a price of a rank, you can't really lower the prices without a full-on rage.

While i personally believe that a price change shouldnt happen, i see your point of view. The given ECC main world is starting to run out of space, and with a rise of mayors AND presidents, this is becoming a problem. If you raise the price, you are making it somewhat unfair to the newer players, and the older ones get away with 85k. Resident is that stepping stone towards mayor, and overall, 100k is a fair price to pay. Rather then raising the price, we should be creating more space for the new towns, such as
-deleting inactive towns. Say a president/mayor has been offline for well over 2 weeks or so, it can be assumed that they have left. However, these must be empty towns with little to no members.
-offer a small reward to give up your town. Im not saying to completly refund your 85 or 180k, but it should range. Mayors can get a given amount of money, and presidents can be given more money or even a gift card or whatever.
-overall, in a general sense, just make the map restrictions bigger. I know that this probably will not work, but if we are to soon hit the edges of the main world, perhaps we can push those boundries.
All in all, prices need to stay the same, but there are other ways to fix this land problem

I got mayor when it was 50k.. So I have no opinion.

 

Raising or lowering or losing cash, tough luck, go find another server if your unhappy about that fact that you payed more for mayor then Jim did.

As for raising the price, i think it's okay the way it is. The reason towns are filling up is because of the amount of people we have.

As for getting it in a week the thing is...

If a real dedicated person joined ECC, they'd get ecoleader in a week or two.

All I need to do is farm 6 hours a day and never chat or play lotto. I'd become super super rich after a while. Right now, some do things like that some don't, so we got a lot of people complaining the price is too high, and other people going, bah, i can get it in a week, make it more expensive.

I think mayor is fine, if anything, I would say raise president a little. Mayor+ usually make more money than residents.
