We don't know when the hub comes out. A simple kitpvp arena/world can be fairly easily implemented, it would easy on the server's performance (see footnote), and it would be fun. I'd say it's worth it to implement it now. He's implying that the hub might never come. or just not in the near future. footnote: it's small and simple and doesn't require much except for checking when someone dies and reward money accordingly. Kits can be handled by essentials. Inventory could maybe be handled by a custom plugin or a multiworld inventory plugin. Or just force you to put all your items in a chest before joining. (not a great solution, though) Death rewards is a simple thing, could be custom or an existing plugin. And all that remains then is building the map
If we have this, you might find me around more. SG is stupid (this coming from someone who has multiple ++ kits). KitPvP is fun, equal, and if we have a more fast-paced one that would awesome.
I don't play here much anymore, but I was browsing the forums and came upon this suggestion. All I gotta say is that it's worked GREAT in other places when I've seen it implemented and if you guys could implement it, it would be something fun, that provides a fair and fun PvP experience, [hopefully] regardless of the amount of donations you make. +1 as long as ECC doesn't make it pay2win like SG (that will kill it)
Oh, I'd also like to point out, this would be a really good way to catch hackers. Admins could simply vanish and spectate them whenever you poke them about someone possibly hacking. Maybe not every time... but you get the idea.
+1 I would be more inclined to play Pvp games... It would be like Sg... But without that 1 guy running around with Bfr 1 hitting everything!
How hard to implement? Not very. How hard to manage? Medium. How far down on my to do list, if at all? Non Existent. IMO, fun idea. But let me deal with getting the hub up first.
