+1 I would love to see it ingame, would definitely buy it! But make it so the kill message gets processed or a choice of a variety of messages. Such as; "rekt", "destroyed", "desinagrated", ect. Just so it's not a salty message nor immature.
It's the most stupid way to spend real money, but if there's people willing to pay for that, all the better +1 more money for the server
In my opinion spending real money for a virtual animal to follow you around is stupid. However, other people like it . I would love to buy a custom kill message because I frequently play sg.
Ok, let me rephrase: it's one more most stupid way to spend money. With no offense meant. Almost any cosmetic feature is just pointless for me (including pets*) and I would pay for it only if I was risking to suffocate inside the giant heaps of my own money. And I would buy cosmetic features not because "I can afford, so why not": I'd buy cosmetics only to the extent it would give me a few seconds more to breath. But I'm not buried under tons of money, so meh *you can't milk pet cows or shear pet sheep or harvest pets' drops in any way, can you?
+1 Because anything to increase the amount of salt from The Crying Games is a good thing. I enjoy people whining and crying over pointless things in chat.
Then cure the disease. Trying to prevent the symptoms from happening will be a neverending challenge with no success. If people get their panties in a twist, make them screw off. If people abuse it, make them screw off. Simple, right?

Honestly at the current state of the server it's not a good idea because all it will do is piss people off. When someone kits against some lonely builder its already bad enough. Having a custom kill message is just a salt in the wound. Because it would cost a hefty chunk to a noob it would be pretty show hat you're wealthy and you're only beating them for the heck of it. All these people are +1ing this and saying things like "The more salt the better." "There's already a lot of salt this won't make a difference." They aren't +1ing it because they genuinely think this is a good idea, they just want to make people mad although I do think this is a great idea but at the current state of the server it'd make more problems. -1 EDIT: Also the server isn't trying to be EULA complaint atm. We're kind of protesting against it by ignoring it TL DR: -1 people are too mean
As much as I like this suggestion matrix is 100% right. Sadly, you have to treat people like babies. You say something like "rekt" after a match and they report you for harassment and slander. If people could stop getting butthurt over things random people on the internet say then this suggestion would be good. That will sadly never happen. -1, sorry
The custom kill message doesn't have to be anything like that It would just change the fact of the message of when you killed someone as well as we should be allowed to color the custom message but idk lol. We can have something like this for example As you can see @Erik20 was killed by @purplelegoender with a bow! we can simply change it to @Erik20 was obliterated by @purplelegoender instead of the word killed every time we can change the word in the middle of the two names just to make it seem more cooler. As well as I notice that it doesn't show our nicknames when we kill someone in sg, only when we win the match.
The point of not showing the nickname when you kill is because that is how they track the kills/wins for the SG points (I think) also why are all your messages now in blue :/ super annoying
I love this idea, it's creative and fun. I honestly don't see where the saltiest of players could get salty about this if they KNOW THAT ITS A DONATION FEATURE. If it says "TheZombieMuffin was rekt by Nicit6", I know it's his feature that's placing that message, how can I get mad at nicit for that. If someone wants to explain, I'll gladly listen. For now, +1
