I see. But if all sorts of profanity (whether direct or indirect) is absolutely prohibited in ECC server in the future, then will some users try to curse via private means to the bitter end?
I don't see how this is relevant to changing the rules to such a policy, but probably. Private means get a lot more leeway in the rules simply because they're private (staff don't see all of them) and while we step in if there's an issue with something like harrassment/etc if it's language and everyone there is okay with it, we generally leave it.
Eventually, kids get exposed to profanity. If they don't hear it on a minecraft server, they'll hear it in real life. It's basically inevitable.
Cursing via private means isn't an issue if the parties involved are okay with it, regardless of the rules (because if everybody is okay with it in the private place, it won't be reported and staff won't know).
Again, if both parties don't have an issue and it isn't reported nothing will happen. If it is reported we handle it accordingly.
There's no need to spam characters , especially when you've already voiced your opinion in another post above.
