My suggestion is that when you get so many of your posts rated "potato" you get an award. For example, when you receive, say, 150 potato ratings, you get an award named "Potato God" and you get 100 trophies.
This wouldn't have a real purpose, just something funny that people can work torward and laugh about.

Make it at least 300 potato ratings. 150 is too easy to achieve imo.

Yes. For example - when you are a 1 year member you get an award. For that award you get some trophy points.
In this case, when you get X amount of potatoes, you get trophy points. -
