You would keep your portal for free, just like normal. But, if you felt like upgrading your portal to a portal room. You could pay extra, and rent a room. If you couldn't pay anymore or decided to move it back to the normal portal area, it would be free again.
+1 if you lower the price it will definitely be a good idea, and I would enjoy having one for my town.
He never listed a price that I saw But either way, high prices are good, because they drain money out of the economy.
The current method works and with paying for it weekly you may go off away for a few weeks or not have enough to pay for the room when it comes to renew it, plus if you do loose the portal then when you get another portal it would not be in the same place and would be harder to find for members of the town.
Thats what I am against though 90k to start with is a lot for a portal and having to pay per week is overkill the system we have works fine and is no in need of it being changed to weekly payments, instead we could remove portals from towns whose owners are no longer active 6+ months offline.
You're completely misunderstanding, we're NOT removing the regular portals, it would be EXTRA, you do need a portal to even apply for this. Like I stated at the bottom of my thread.
So this would not remove all current portals and would i still be able to get portals as they currently are, but i can instead get portals for a weekly payment instead?
Yes, nothing would change, except that you could upgrade your current portal for a price, that's all.
You would have an ADDITIONAL portal, one that points to the portal you already have in your town. This is a premium spot that you can freely edit, but it's completely optional, the regular portal system would still be in place. This would only supplement it.
