Suggestion: Toll Access

Reason:
I would like to request a way to make a locked item activateable by paying for it. Right now, I can lock a door. The only way to for others to open it is to a) also be "keyed" (/cmodify xxx) to it or b) know the password if password-locked.

But, there is no way to have someone be able to pay a set ammount (let's say $10 ECC) to gain access to an area.

Adding an option like this would allow:

• profits from amusement rides (pay to get in, ride, pay to get back on)
• tolls on extcreation items ie: bridges / doors / lifts
• tolls for using a town portals (enclose the portal in a room and have a toll door to leave the sealed area)
• other wonderous (and probably dangerous) possibilities

I have no idea how that would be programed into the present server addons / protections (they ARE propietary, ya know *wink*), however I have found at least one example on the bukkit forums

I would like it to go to the maker of the door. Also, I'm assuming that it would be something like making a trade sign next to a door. every time it's clicked, the door opens for a set amount of time.

Or maybe you would have a "ticket" that you could buy from a chest, and would have to have it in your hand to use a door... maybe like the lift / drawbridge signs?

 

Thought of another application "pay to unlock"
Staff could make a trade building in Spawn / close by that has "rentable" rooms to trade in without the worry of someone walking by and grabbing stuff off the ground.

Thought I'd throw that one out there to see if there is still any interest in this... :)
