    How would this be a negative thing? People are bidding on it causing the price to increase and therefore more money is leaving the economy?

    Only if we raise the bid increment to $50,000. Anything lower than that can just unnecessarily delay auctions.

    I like this suggestion, would prevent auction-snipers which make it unfair on others as you stated.

    I support 24 hours if the increment increases to 25k. That seems pretty fair.
