[Suggestion] No-Kit SG Arenas

Thanks jw. No kit arenas need to exist to preserve the integrity of the survival games. ECC has free survival games, but to take full advantage of it you need money. In the Hunger Games (movie), you can't cheat your way through with money. Everyone is equal. That's how it should be here.

 

There is really no reason why this should not be added 1 or 2 non kit arenas wont hurt anything people with kits can go against people with kits.

There should be a kit arena and a no kit arena, but you make more money by winning in the kit arena. That way it is fair to have a no kit arena, but people with kits would still make money.

The problem is not only that. If kits face kits (which will most likely happen) skill will still be needed. The profit is builders, like you.

 

Pardon my pulling this question back up from a month ago, but let me respond with another question: Why not? If we stop thinking how the future can be better we risk stagnation. Humanity is driven by improving our collective lot - why should we continually improve science, technology, medicine, education, if we think new humans should have it just as we did. We're playing a game that didn't exist when our parents were kids and nobody would've even dreamed of when our parents parents were kids. It's no question that our lives are wholly better than those of generations before us, why should we not apply the same logic here? Why shouldn't we strive to be better?

Some sort of kit re-evaluation needs done. The kit set-up is atrocious currently.

What the heck motivates the world? Let's have a little thinker here. Well, some say love and affection. Some say that people just want their freedoms to be respected and to live happily ever after.

Now, let's get a reality check here. Those are all... oh what do they call them... bonuses. What really motivates the world? Money! You got it! If they really cared about how the majority of the server felt, they would certainly shut down survival games kits. There would be a vote, and then a compromise for the whole server. I understand it's a hard decision. Lots of money issues as well. Even we are at fault, we pretending that our donations will last forever. Yes, money is a tough thing, but sometimes people throw aside the money aspect and do what's right in their hearts. So, unless there is a change of heart on both sides, nothing will be accomplished.

That's my third sense! Huehue...

 

Being one to donate quite a bit just in kit... I completely agree, kits are "cheap" and there should be a kit free arena for those looking for actual skill and want to get rewarded for it. +2

 

I can't agree more. It would be easy on so many levels to designate even a single arena to no kits.
And to risk money making for the kitters? Simple. Cut the profits per kill/victory in the non-kit arena so some ambiguous amount.
Still cutting profits in kit arenas too much? Boost the rewards from kit arenas.
Heck, even if the non-kit arena earned $0 dollars per kill, it would still at least be a place where people without kits could get a TASTE of SG, and enjoy some friendly survival games.

Is there any reason at all why this couldn't work? Are the limits technical, perhaps? (I presume disabling kit commands in that arena could do it).
Non-kitters could still play in kit arenas for a chance to make larger profits.
Kitters could still play against each other, leveling the playing field by pitting more kitters against each other rather than feeding on builders (easily keep profits by boosting rewards, as I mentioned).

This would be good for the community, and the server. It would allow us to offer yet one more feature to be enjoy by ALL players, not solely the established players. We already have lots of features reserved for the dedicated (or USD-loaded) players. And a no-kit arena wouldn't even reduce the benefits of being loyal to the server.

We should add this. Players want it. New builders could benefit from it.

I totally agree with this idea, I used to be extremely good at sg but as soon as they added kits I never get a chance anymore. Maybe if they had arenas that would sort the kit that they have lit Buffer and the other ones that are expensive in one area on so on for the other ones. +1
