The problem that I see with President costing $250,000 is additional towns, they would all need to be move up since the current system places the 1st additional town at $220,000. Which is $30,000 below what you are suggesting for the rank. On the other hand I completely agree with the Citizen rank and a general increase in prices for ranks.
spawn shops are part of the perks of being a merchant or the new rank. pretty much. there is still the trade channel, auction, /sell, etc. when you're a resident and are trying to get mayor while you're low on useful tools, gameplay can start to stale considering how long it takes. this should give them more inspiration (and motivation) to get mayor. thank you for your kind and considerate thoughts. It isn't hard for a builder to earn 15k /ch trade, /sell, /ch auction
I see what you are trying to do here. I don't think that you understand that this means it will take LONGER for them to get mayor. because they have to purchase a rank in between
The problem isn't whether or not it will take longer to achieve mayor. Many residents see the 85k as too high of a price increase from the original 15k that they had to pay for resident. Considering that 85k is approximately 5.67 times as much as 15k (85/15=5.67), this is the highest increase percentage-wise out of all the ranks.
I'm sorry, I'm probably being REALLY dumb here... but I have no idea what's being suggested here, except Adding a new rank, with giving players the idea that they're getting there easier. Why are we moving where trade signs are added? What's the perk for getting this new rank? Sorry, again, being really slow. Can you explain this? I'm going with origami right now, the ranks are fine as is.
-1, this just makes it is it costs more $ overall to achieve mayor and gain a town and makes them have to go through a pointless rank that gives you nothing
Adding this new rank will take longer to get a town.... and some residents just sell they're town for mayor anyway. -1
I think prices should simply be raised tbh. Mayor and president ranks are redundant enough as it is. -1
