IGN: crossfire26 Suggestion: With the new updates for Survival Games on the server, why not have some new maps? And with that, also make a competition out of it. Reason: Throughout my year on ECC, I have witnessed some outstanding structures and towns made by the best builders on the server. The real point of the suggestion is to have people be able to submit maps to potentially be used as Survival Games maps on the server. How it would work: To set up the map, it would be simple. There would be a given diameter, and the builder would have to mark the center of the map with a piece of bedrock. Around the center would the be map, consisting of puzzles, traps, and a pre-determined number of chests. Testing: The creator of the map, along with some staff members and normal users would be able to test the map, searching for bugs and also testing for fun. If the map were to meet all of the set criteria, then it would be put aside as a potential map. The point of this suggestion is to not only enhance the Survival Games experience, but to also get some of the best builders to have their works recognized server-wide, to be enjoyed by all.
I'm fairly certain crossfire is wanting unique maps, not just the standard ones which you can pretty much play on any survival games server. Many servers run survival games better then ecc, so there is nothing unique or any reason for people to play specifically on ecc survival games. Having a unique map may help change that.
Planetminecraft is holding a survival games map contest, we can just pick maps from there, and from other places. The maps we're going to use may be used on another server, but who cares? As long as we can play some good maps on ECC it's fine. :b
