True, we're a week into September now, and the word was and has been it'd be out by the start of September... And we've heard nothing since... o_O

I agree, this will promote the server more and also lover the Star tool prices which I think is too high compared to how much money they generate.

Can vouch, was one of the (successful) acquisitions courtesy of the PMC site in December 2013.
I think that adding more sites is becoming an even better idea, especially when the hub is released within the next few weeks.-

Keep in mind "by the end of summer" means before September 22nd ;)
Moreover, I think this is a great idea that will cooperate with the hub and work well.

Seriously. People are paying almost 200USD (which is worth more than Australian currency) for a single item.
It is insane quite frankly that it costs such a great deal to purchase a star tool nowadays.
Going by the average price currently which is $550 per star it would cost $1,100,000 ECD to purchase the Netherstars required to obtain a Melon Sword. If we say that donation features are usually sold for $6,000/USD on average this is $183, almost 200USD.
If we look at the average amount per hour that a Melon sword can make whilst farming (it may be slightly lower than this in fact) which is $15,000/hour it would take almost 73.5 hours of continuous farming to be able to make back the cost of the tool. That is just over 3 full days of constant grinding.
Upon doing some research I have discovered that the minimum wage over in the United States is $7.25USD per hour. As a result of this a person could work for 25 hours at minimum wage doing something that may not be as continuous as simply grinding a melon farm and be able to obtain the EcoDollars required to achieve a tool such as this.
Should the time required to obtain such a tool not be the same despite the source?
In my opinion Netherstars should be just below $200 in price. This would mean that if someone were to farm for 25 full hours they would obtain $375,000 and then be able to purchase 2000 Netherstars required to obtain a Melon Sword. Spending the exact same time as you would to work for the USD.
Is Eco City Craft not meant to be a Major Economy Server that mimics the events and processes of the real world economy?
If 7 voting sites were once again present it would as a result create an influx of players which will in turn direct more money to the server as well as produce more Netherstars which will deflate the price.

To add, I also joined in the era of 300k melonswords and eff7s, and people had no issues with it then. We had 7 voting sites, and netherstar markets were fairly low at like $350-400 a star.
I think adding back the sites, over time of course, will offset the high costs of some of the nstar tools and make other items like star armor and the star sword more interesting and achievable.-

I'm not sure why people keep using the nstar price as their argument... because there's nothing wrong with the nstar prices as it is now..
Also, new players =/= more money for the server. Because these new players have to actually keep playing. And the amount of people who play on ECC has been steadily declining. I think instead of having more voting sites, it's better to invest more heavily in the server (gameplay wise) and then just advertise the server on the most popular one.-

My point was that nstar prices are not a good argument for adding more voting websites.
