[Suggestion] Mining World Access/Changes (Please Read!)

If Andrewkm were to decide to stop mob spawning, then the mining world would be basically a main world that regens every so often. Even if that were to happen, my opinion on re-adding pvp to the mining world doesn't change.

Moral of that story, don't dig straight down. Re-adding the world warps to the main world isn't a bad idea. That's just how it was before the mining world was changed.

 

When the mining world was PvP enabled, everyone flocked to it on reset day, and it was a PvP bloodbath. Only one spawn point, and those seeking quick gain for no effort but the swing of a sword always won out. I had heard about these spawn campers, it's why I never ventured in to the mining world to mine back then. Ever.

I have enjoyed this realm on a few occassions now, farming dirt or sand. Doing this in the main world would work just the same, but leaves an unresetable mess behind. I like that the warps take anyone to a random spot where they can break blocks to their heart's content... but, I don't think enough know that it is a resetting world, since few read the signs before the warps.

There are no warps to the main world wild any more. Voting doesn't give money any more, and someone new to the server isn't going to know what to do with their Nether Stars, let alone get a good price for them and buy a plot that way.

And my earlier point is true... there are mayors/presidents that will not sell a plot to a builder. Yes, they paid for that rank, and can do with their town what they please... but, the comment was said that all a builder has to do is buy a plot and not have to worry about griefing. Buying a plot kind of helps when people are even willing to sell you one.

Then, there is the matter of enchanted armor, enchanted tools, and learning what mcMMO is for the first time and starting to level it. Anyone with something better is going to kill you in PvP... skill only makes up for so much. Rage quitting frustration is often what happens when you are only given so much you can do, and that you are always hampered by those with better, rather than helped.

Builders are tasked with all the grunt work no one else wants to do, are often not given other jobs because of their rank (it happens, and you know it happens), and those jobs they do get are often pitifully paid. I mean, they are only builders, right? Not like they aren't worth a fair shake like everyone else.

So... they eke out their 15k somehow, if they stay long enough. Be it two days or two months, but they did it. And their perk used to be the mining world... they just spent all their money to get in, and they may not have the tools or armor to fight off a PvP attack, thus losing anything they could have gained. I think it is much better that PvP stays out of things, at least when it comes to mining, builder+ or not.

Now... for those thinking that we shouldn't take our personal experiences in to account when posting here, one way or the other... that is the only way to make an informed opinion. You live it. What I have lived, does not count PvP as a win.

 

I've edited out the ajp one please comment on what i quoted of you instead of trying to make out im picking fights when im not, sorry if you think i am its not what im intending im only intending to prove this is more biased then anything and is all about owning the major exp markets people blindly follow what us bigger more season players say due to fact they want to be like hey i like your idea like me back sorta thing

this has also mad resident a rank like tycoon or ecoleader you get nothing but the name (exept for more locks) this just seens silly i wanted resident to go into the mining world now that i have it everyone is alwoed in this is also unfair for people who recently bought resident for mining world acess and dont even care about the rank
