Suggestion: Changing the time of mining/nether resets from once a month to once every two weeks.
Reason: I think this should be done as the mining world has been reset less than a week and people are already complaining that they can't seem to find ores. The mining world being reset once a month was originally a good concept but because of the numerous amount of Efficiency VII Pickaxe's on the server the time needs to be adjusted to compensate for this.
Any Other Information: I understand that this will be extra work for the admin+ team but overall I believe it will be worth it, builders shouldn't have to struggle to find ores because somebody with a $750,000 has already taken every single one of them.
I also understand that some people will complain "I don't want my mob spawner reset" Mob spawners are very common and easy to setup, I doubt you'll have a massive issue in finding another one, this is also a way to counter those with "op" mob spawner setups consisting of multiple spawners as they'll only get to use them for two weeks before the world is reset.

Edit: Just to expand on @Bashdash100 point, I think if we did this it would be a good idea to change Efficiency VII Pickaxes to 2000 netherstars instead of 1500, this would help allow the change to go through without affecting the economy too much, if people begin to make too much money you can always tweak the /worth price of gems/ores.

I suggested this a few weeks back and it was denied. But either way +1

I disagree.
Those who are complaining are those who go after diamonds and emeralds, then whine when those are gone.
There is still ample resources to be found with coal, iron, gold, lapis, redstone... not to mention the granite, diorite and andesite, which is all plentiful but has value in its novelty as a new building material.
Just because you have to look a little harder to find something that 'makes money' doesn't mean that the mining world is empty.
For those currently on Eff7 mining, resetting the mining world more often would really only increase their wealth as they would still be the first to the bulk of the resources there and it would still be 'unfair' to those without star tools.-

If you really thought about the amount of money that's generated from the mining world, you'd understand why this makes no sense. An already inflated economy shouldn't need this. -

-1 then eff7 will make 20k per hour all day ere day while msword makes a crummy 13k

Hm... I have mixed feelings about this.
An interesting idea, but as Matrix and KMax said, eff 7 users would make even more. Not complaining, as I'm an eff 7 user as well, but I do understand how it wouldn't be fair to other players without star picks. Plus, well, even though finding spawners isn't terribly hard, i have the worst luck finding them :p
But I like the idea because I find it rather annoying trying to mine a tunnel and you run into a mined out area that an eff 7 user was at, where they mined out everything but the coal and sometimes the iron, and when you try to mine in a different direction you run into another large mined out area. -

If anything, increase the size of the mining world slightly.

*sigh* just because after a few weeks the mining works has a lot mined out, there's so much more that isn't even touched... The mining world is 40kx40k I believe, hell of a lot of room to mine, deal with it

Will effect the standard player market, people will simply have no interaction with each other.
Hopefully this then make people actually trade their ores over just sell handing.
Good concept that most people will like, but will effct economy in a big way. -

I think this would make users that mine with Efficiency 7 pickaxes way too overpowered.
I myself, as someone who owns one do not find it too hard finding ores. I just think that it would make diamonds etc too common. -

I actually want to see two months pass before the mining world is reset :p There are so many resources still available even near the end of the months. The price of rare temple and monument items would plummet and there would be so much money pumping into the economy. The nether is hardly touched.

With mining world resets, the money made from mining per hour rockets and basically dominates. More frequent resets will result in more income for the eff 7 miners.
Mining already makes more than farming, why increase it? -
