Well, really, in my opinion, most of the items in the store have weird prices. Like nickname cost $50 while it is purely aesthetic, while TP only costs $20. And crazily, Investigator actually costs a full $100. I'd rather have that lowered.
Everyone wants to change their name at the same time we don't want the entire server with nicks so $50 is good. TP is useful and cheap enough so people buy it a lot. Investigator is useful enough people will buy it at $100 and we don't want half the server in /v that would be no fun at all.
I mean, people were angry about the buffer nerf because it nerfed their way of making money on an economy server - this doesn't change or affect your income or really anything of yours honestly. I understand how some may feel "ripped off" because they paid extra for it, but they still have the feature. Now, let's also remember that there's only around 10 users with this feature compared to the tens if not hundreds who already have buffer.
How about a "permenent" discout on it? That way it is not lowered, but is still cheaper. tough I say -1, it needs raised, I don't like a /v ed server.
So because there isonly a fraction of people who have the feature, your happier to change it over say buffer? Doesn't seem very fair? And it does help me make money, it means no one can contact me, or distract me while making money. Makes it one of the best perks of them all.
A "permanant" discount is the same thing as lowering the price, lmao. Anyway, did you read the suggestion? This concerns investigator+, not normal investigator. Vanish is irrelevant in this.
I mean, I was just going off your point that there might be "nerfing buffer angry" people after lowering this price. I seriously doubt ten people, some of whom are inactive would cause as much as a problem as the many more active players who bought buffer. Anyway, as I've said in my previous post, vanish is irrelevant to suggestion - this is about Investigator+.
Yes, I know that it would be a lowered price. But that way ecc could say some thing like "We did not lower it, it is just on sale." to anyone complaining. And I honestly thought it was investigator, not +.
Instead of everyone asking for prices to be lowered on everything all the time, and with the massive wealth that many players are bragging about, it may just be time to raise all the prices instead! Two months of double the price and then everyone will be so pleased and learn to appreciate the prices where they are. Seems to me Andrew has a tiny bit of experience in setting prices and seems to be pretty successful at it. I am sure he tires of seeing these suggestions over and over again.
This is basicly what I said in my first post, it needs raised. (After I get it of course) Also, in case this sounds worng, I am only agreeing with you.
But at the end of the day, Andrew is the one who sets all the prcies and im happy with it, I personally think why try and fix it if it isnt broken.
You think people are stupid. Of course if you have a "permanent sale" (whatever that is) they'll realize you lowered the price. Yes, let's double the prices for everything and see how much money the server gets after that. Anyway, the donation feature is very over priced, and even JamieSinn agrees that it should be lowered - Someone I'd like to think has a bit more experience than you with things regarding this. He's being sarcastic about doubling prices of donations. (Or at least I hope so.) Anyway, saying that the price should be raised after you get it is self-interest at it's finest, lmao.
I don't think people are stupid. I know people would know that it would be a lowered price in that scenario. I was just saying the staff of ECC could use that as a defense.
This feature is priced what it is - buy it if you want at the price set by the owner. Someone I'd like to think has a bit more experience than either Jamie, me, or anyone else I am being sarcastic about doubling the prices, but I also think they are fair where they are. Nobody is required to purchase any feature. Anyway, saying that the price should be lowered before you get it is self-interest at it's finest
I mean, I guess so, however even someone with vast experience such as the Owner, andrewkm, can either over price or under price donations. I guess so, but I don't have any plans to be getting that feature in the near future.
