I think most players would rather do /lot commands and clutter their chat for a bit than take the time to stop what they are doing and finding a building at spawn. I don 't think this is a bad idea, it just wouldn't be very popular.

 

Are you suggesting that with this implemented you cannot buy tickets outside of the building? if so I will have to say -1, this takes away lotto while farming, mining, sg'ing, etc.

If this is just a simple addition it seems a bit complicated to display the info on signs, but I am not a dev so I don't know, maybe if it's an easy thing then it would be fine.

 

If you can still use lotto commands outside of that building, then what would be the point of having that building?
Also, /lot commands are the least of the messages in the logs.

 

People would just block each other to see the signs and obscure visibility/ability to click the signs. Not to mention most people do lotto while doing other things; having to go to a building would be a hassle.

Because SG is not a global thing and there are more sg arenas. There is only 1 lottery.

If there were multiple lotteries then something like this could work, but seeing as there's only 1, this is just a useless suggestion.

 

But with SG, you can simply do /sg join <arena>

 

Then again you can also do /lot buy amount.
