I think it should work like lwc limits. But idk. Most likely wont happen :(
Spawnshops are where item frames are needed most of all.

 

I'm guessing they would be in the same section as furnace buildings?

If items frames were able to be re-enabled with minimal lag that would be amazing!

 

They'd get butchered since they are entities

 

I'm pretty sure that if you haven't broken your item frame since they became un-placeable, they will still be there.

There is a way to make it so they dont get removed and +1 i dont see why they are not enabled they cause fps lag when there is a lot in 1 area not server lag.

 

Small problem: Dupes.

1.8 added an awesome new dupe with them to get over a full inventory of 50% item frames and 50% the item that was inside. MAny older dupes with them still exist until this day and were never fixed.

It would require a LOT of work to fix all those dupes, but then it could be re-enabled.

There wasn't a main world butcher back then as there were no mobs to butcher. Now they are. They'd work a lot like how armor stands do now - generally pretty badly.

 

Armor stands work fine now - and old frames aren't currently being butchered, either.

 

Hm, interesting. The rules we put in place would still be fairly similar to mobs (no more than, say, 50 in one place).

I want them too but just too many issues (lag, butchers, duping)

 

Or to limit the use of them, how about add them to ExtCreations?
Reasons:
1. We've gone this far without them, boohoo you spend $30 for something that isn't even remotely necessary
2. Too many can cause a lot of lag
3. They have something to do with being "extra creations"
4. Another reason to donate
5. If this wasn't added to ExtCreations and a limit of say, 50, would be the amount allowed in any area, if it were added to ExtCreations because of the less people using them there could be a higher limit to the amount allowed in any area
6. Perhaps there could be a way to log any potential dupers because the amount of people to watch out for would be far less than the rest of the server, as well as we would have a rough idea of any potential dupers instead of everybody ever

 

We have enough donation features we can not limit everything to features i dont see why this cant just be added they cause more fps lag when there is to many in 1 area not server lag this could easily be limited so people can only place lets say 50.
