Accepted suggestion increase chorus fruit price

I assume a while considering he had to first farm the chorus flowers, plant then wait for all of those plants to be ready.

Please yes. I think a person working solo can make 15k per hour at the current price of 4 each. I think it should be bumped to at least 10 a fruit due to the tremendous risk, amount of time it takes to set up a farm, everyone having /near, and how long it takes to get to your farm if you leave to get food or what not.

 

FYI, you can just eat Chorus Fruit as food, they restore a good 2 hunger bars each.
Which reduces demand for the food needed for the End.

But well, I want to see the price buff or alternatively, drop rate set from 50% to 100%.
Which can also acts as 100% increase of current income.

I have worked with 6+ people on a 150x150 farm and we made no where near 60k/person/hour it was much closer to 12.5k-16k/person/hour and thats not even counting the 5+hours it takes for us to find a good spot and build also it doesnt account for the amount of time that we lose while pvping and getting back to the farm.

 

I agree with chorus fruit price increase. Up to $6 would be a good increase from the current $4.

 

Not being that great at pvp and not usually having a ton of time to sit around, the end is actually a loss of income if I go chorus farming vs. mining or melon farming and that is disappointing. So +1.

 

I hope the drop rate of chorus fruit are set from 50% to 100% so that it would act like double (averagely) income without making a huge number (>10) on chorus fruit price.

Or just price increase as usual, to reach the expected income.

 

Only way for what andrew claimed before to be true would be if chorus fruits were raised to 10 dollars each.

 

So I ran some tests today on my 2nd biggest farm in the end. I ran it solo. I think I can improve on it slightly. Possibly add another 1-2k/hr, solo. I'll work on this in a week or two.

I am adding this for full disclosure.

My farm was fully dug out and planted to start.
Speed potions didn't seem to help with prior tests, so these are at normal speed.
It takes about 20 minutes for the chorus plants to fully mature for me.
I can complete a full circuit in about 30 minutes (27:30 and 28:35).
I can make approximately 10k a circuit ($9,748, $9,884).
A circuit for me is farming and replanting, as the farm is self sustaining.
When a circuit is completed, I end in the same state I started.
With this being said, it takes a long time to set this up initially.
I am hoping for $10/fruit to help me be able to farm 50k/hour as advertised.
I would also be happy with the 100% drop rate.

+1, I seem to only make around 20k max per hour with a team of 6 all doing different jobs.

Now that school has started for me I can't play as much and having the price bumped up would help a whole lot. The times I have be able to farm I only got 12.5k-16k per hour.

 

+1 Chorus Farming is way too slow.
