"Nickname" is simply annoying. I cannot tell who the user is USUALLY. I do not want to use the command to find out who they are or ask who they are. I can't pm the user because when they use the "Nickname" command. Flat out, this command is very annoying.

I 100% agree with this suggestion. I understand why andrew has made it a donation, but some people, like us, personally do not like /nick command.

I have not been in-game yet, but I'm very confused why Andrew added this (A) in the first place and (B) without asking public opinion...
I can already tell it'll be super annoying without seeing it. -

I just want to say if we don't see their nicknames what's the point of even having them? If everyone saw your real name and not your nickname, then it's just a waste of money. Say you bought an expensive thing and everyone was annoyed by it and ignored it, how would you feel? That's how the nickname people are feeling. Also if you take the feature away and give them credits, they could already have all features and just have bought it for fun. Andrew didn't waste time for nothing. If this really needed to happen just only enable colors and bold and stuff, but otherwise just deal with it people. It won't kill you. It won't annoy you as much as price drops, it won't hack you, it won't make you lose everything.
For everyone that is saying remove this-
1- If you hate it just /ignore them
2- Deal with it.
3- Just /realname if you are so angry
4- You didn't buy it, they did. If it's annoying you then change servers, ignore them, or /realname them.
TL;DR
Grow some and deal with it. -
Rachel8484 ResidentResident ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Indeed it is Jason. Very confusing. I like it at first but, the I got confused for who is speaking and who isn't. I prefer seeing just their real in game name, and not guessing who it is or asking / using the command to find out.
-
Rachel8484 ResidentResident ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Shane, why should we have to use the command or ignore them? I want to hear what they say sometimes. I am tired of guessing who they are. I am tired of using the command. I am tired of asking who they are.

- using /realname takes like 3 seconds
- Only a handful of people have this feature, so far I've only seen around 10 people with it. And most of them rarely change their nick and some of them just change their nick to their in-game name but with prettier colours.
- Having people hide nicknames would completely ruin the point of having nicknames. Nicknames aren't for yourself to see, they're so others can see your nickname. If people would go around hiding nicknames then what is the point of having a nickname? So you can see your own nickname?

Never would Andrew add a donation feature which takes one heart away from all members of the server. It could be abused. It hurts people that may be less fortunate/unable to donate. When I join a Minecraft Server, I expect donators to have perks. But should perks have the ability do hurt those that cannot donate. No. It may not be physically hurting ECC members, but nicknames are mentally hurting us. It is now, if you can pitch in some money, you are able to drive other less fortunate members to the point of pulling their hair out. ECC is designed to be for all ages. However, a 6 year old has a slim chance of being able to donate. They can just as well get a melon sword, but donating is a hardship. As Kuke addressed, some may have all features and a credit would become useless. Here is where a new donation comes in. The zookeeper donation. For $50 Zookeeper gives you the ability to spawn animals. For an additional $50 Zookeeper+ allows the ability to eggify. For those of you that don't know, eggify is where you click on an animal with a stick and it becomes a spawn egg. Lag may be an issue. However, someone else was talking about how donators need an additional perk to take the place of bypassing server limit. Do we truly need 1000 slots? Have you ever seen over 400 people on? The answer is no. People who have all features or whatever can cash their credit from nicknames to get Zookeeper/+ or EcoDollars. Please address the multiple suggestions in this post. Thanks!

Would people be refunded if it gets deleted?
-
Rachel8484 ResidentResident ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️I think they would get a free donation feature that costs $50.

Rachel8484 ResidentResident ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️I am not sure about this feature "Driving you mentally insane". Although this feature is very annoying. I do wish andrew never had created this feature. It can confuse and annoy new players and cause them to quit.

scottmichaelj BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Lol. It was a joke :) I was meant to mean it makes me want to pull my hair out. Quoted from Moofink. Also, we can make it that nether creatures can't be spawned. I have never seen a cow in the nether :)

kukelekuuk C͕̹̲̽ͪ͐ͩ̔L̜̦̝͈ͦ̿̾̿ḘA̻̗̤̳̐ͭ̆̿̃̑ͭN̊̓͑̇ͯBuilder ⛰️ Ex-EcoLeader ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeWay to over exaggerate, this feature isn't driving people insane. Most people will stick with 1 or 2 names and really, it takes like 3 seconds to /realname <username> and figure out who someone is. It's also not mentally hurting anyone, in fact, the only people who really have problems with nicknames are staffmembers, but andrew and khobbits are working on fixing that.
How does it confuse newer players and cause them to quit from being annoyed and confused? Please explain your logic behind this statement.
Also not to mention, there's a clear indication of people using nicknames. They all have ** in front of their names. I really can't see how this would affect normal users.
The only thing that may need some improvements is PMing users who are using a nickname, but that's really the only problem I'm seeing.
