    Suggestion: I think there should be a specific person to update/reset worlds.

    Reason: I thin that because the server needs to be more "on top" of things you could say. The server in my opinion is making people more and more frustrated as each day goes on about the mining world not resetting yet. A member in my town because of this was thinking about quitting. With that being said, the map should be generating a week before the mining world is ready to reset so all you have to do is just replace the file and boom, just a quick restart and you got a fresh mining world and people are happy and all. Now with this, the owners may be busy at the time, so that means that a Developer or an Admin should be in charge of replacing the file so everything can run smoothly for the reset and nobody will leave the server!

    Yes, I already know about them. Since they're somewhat late, I was thinking about them hiring another person for this job since they're busy with server side issues or just IRL things.

    We're only 2 days into August. Releases are not August 1st. It's "Once a month" not "On the first of the month". It's been that way forever.

    Yes, I realize that, but the first of the month is only a few days, and a majority of the players have no idea when it will be reset, atleast have a timeframe or a specific date for the reset.

    Like I said, once a month. We don't have specific dates set for anything. It would cause more issues with people being like "You guys are passed deadline!" if we can't meet it. It won't happen.

    And also, some people don't want to travel out 2,000 blocks to just be able to mine, because when it first resets it may be their only way to mine. I heard that on the last reset, keep in mind I heard, it was a week before it even reset. It should be way quicker, because people are antsy like me, and it should just be a quicker process from generating to uploading to the files. Generating shouldn't take 24 hours.

    Yes, I can come to an agreement with that, but atleast generate the map before the the actual day of when most people look for the reset. Maybe start generating the map on like the 25th of the month so therefore it has enough time to generate.

    /wild land is made for a reason. My other answer is, patience is key. No it doesn't take 24 hours to process, but keep in mind, phys and andrew are very busy people making sure our server runs well. They don't always have time to crank out a reset the same time monthly.

    Yes, I do understand that they're super busy, but take I don't know, 5 minutes out of the day to generate the map, and hop on for a few more minutes and see if it's done, and then just save the file, then once it's time to reset, you slide it into the files and then restart.

    I do like the /wild land feature, but it only teleports you how many blocks. It should be teleporting you atleast a thousand blocks out since the map is already generated, and it's more fresh land than all the land with the warp signs and the places near spawn.

    This server and our owners are more on top of this than you could ever know in your less than a week being on the server.
    Consider that it used to be 6-8 weeks before each reset when I started playing.
    There are tens of thousands of blocks of ore still available - simply use one of the 28 warp signs to find good spots even now. Also suggested was using the command /land or /wild to find many areas that are untouched.
    This same complaint happens each and every month because players just think they should be able to hang out at the spawn and collect - it does not work that way as you may actually have to "work" a little to find good spots.
    Patience is the key to being successful on this server - and a little work.

    /wild is completely random. It doesn't tp you a set amount of blocks. And I was finding tons of emeralds in the mining world yesterday so there's still stuff left.

    That's because the people who do that also use /wild!
    A lot of people go mining in the mining world straight after the reset, so you'll see a lot of that quite quickly. There's always a lot left, though. Just keep mining.

    My opinion about mining world resets...
    "If you say you can't find anything, you haven't searched enough."

    I rarely feel a difference between a newly made and a "depleted" mining world. I cave mine and still find TONS of ores right before the resets.

    As for the suggestion, it is as it was already said above - they are once a month and have no set date on purpose. Most people don't realize that in theory resetting the world at the beginning of july and mid august is still once a month. Also, if you feel that the world is too mined out - just change to Legacy or Rising and mine there - mining world is still more efficient than that in my opinion (because of xp), no matter how old it is.
