Suggestion:
Removal of kits from people who have hacked more than once if possible. (Meaning if they do have Sg kits).
Reason:
I believe that me and many others are just getting tired from Sg hackers and the thing that bugs me most that they also have kits. I believe if they are caught hacking, their kits should be removed (This does not include vsg).
In addition, hackers should have learnt their lesson from the first ban and should not repeat it. Others, however, do not so this is a perfect punishment in my eyes.

they already get their mcmmo + Sg stats wiped.
Your opinion is respected by me. Thank you.-

I believe that a plug in is being designed to reset Sg stats, not entirely sure.
Thank you for your opinion, your voice matters. -
The only problem is... what if someone is actually lagging/just really lucky but gets accused of hacking? Being accused of doing something you didn't do is bad enough... But then having donation features removed/stats reset too?

I'm not really sure how I feel about this.. there is a reason that server features are only revoked in case of abuse; you pay real money for them. McMMO stat wipes are already a little borderline, I'm sure that if a hacker came up who had paid for any of their levels Andrew would have a double take and think about it before wiping them.
So the question from me would be, would you consider hacking a direct abuse of SG kits? Really I don't think so, I think that if you were gonna hack in SG and get banned for it, really you wouldn't need the kits to pull it off, and that the kits would just make it easier/less suspicious looking.
I think overall, it would depend highly on severity, as well as the number of kits being revoked. I have $400 in kits, I think to have them all in ++ form you're looking at around $500, and while yes the possibility of losing these is high incentive not to hack, I highly doubt Andrew's gonna revoke hundreds of dollars in features on first offence hacking, when it's already a second-offence policy on removing $15 features that are abused such as pyro for griefing/killing in non-PvP, unless the hacking is incredibly severe in nature.-

My answer to prim is I believe mods would know the difference between hacks and lag.
Sky, I believe your point is a critical point and I do agree with your point. I am editing this thread.
Change to thread is:
If user is caught hacking more than once, kits are to be removed. -

Im not sure about this. Sg hacking is not abuse of sg kits, and getting items worth unto 400-500$ taken away would maybe be a bit too much. And there is also another problem. Legal issues. Idk how the rules for international and canadian sale business is, but I heard Khobbits say something about this may being illegal. Again idk anything about that...
But the Idea itself is good, punishing sg hackers. Its very annoying that these people are out on our server, and its sad that we can't trust each other and constantly accuses each other for hacking just because you won a 1 vs 1 fight.
Sg hacking is a problem, and we need to get rid of em, but i don't think taking away features will be the best way. If you get your kits taken away and lose 50-500$ the player will probably think that he got nothing to lose, and keep going. It might work, but I'm sceptic.
+0 (yes +0, cuz I'm not really sure what to think here) -
I like the premise, but...
What would the equivalent punishment be for those who aren't donors? Or those that have donated, just not for kits? You can't just tell second offense hackers "We've removed your kits! Wait... you don't have any? Well, erm, um...". Especially since, when you think about it, those hackers with kits have done more for the community by donating than the ones who haven't (yes, I realize hacking is bad. But donations are good, no matter who from), yet they are getting a harsher punishment. It doesn't make much sense, just provide an incentive for hackers to NOT donate.-

Personally, I don't think we should let people's donations affect how we punish them, end of story. Why not just add a harsher punishment for all second offense hackers, not just the ones who donate? A harsh punishment such as a longer tempban could work for all second offense hackers, regardless of donor status.

Andrew has said that wipes are done on a case by case basis. Not all hackers get a wipe. I don't think they've even done any wipes yet.

Hmm, suspension of kits is a much better idea. Possibly 2 weeks ontop of a 3-4 week tempban?

I think that this is not acceptable, people pay REAL money to get those kits and to have that taken away is not an acceptable method of punishment. Yes, they should not hack in sg but removal of kits that they have paid for shouldn't be aloud at all. Maybe bans etc but not removal of kits

Is there a way to suspend kits for x amount of time? I liked the idea at first, but, after reading over Sky's post I am second guessing my opinion.
I believe a longer tempban and a suspension of kits for x amount of time after the tempban is up is a good idea.
Feedback?-

That is a good idea -
knears2000 BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-President ⚒️⚒️Pretty much what I was thinking/said :p.

Personally I think suspension of kits is an awful idea. It will make it harder for them to win without hacking, which in turn makes them more likely to start hacking again. If they hadn't stopped hacking, I honestly doubt they're likely to care.
