+1 just problems for presidents. I guess they get it off and mayors have to get governor.

Governor was a suggestion back in the day that had a chance to go through, but there weren't nearly as many towns back then, so fewer problems.

I still want it as a rank (in President's price, and President price upped), and at 1-4 towns, moving President to 5+ towns, or..something. Just not sure it would work out nowadays, due to how many people would "derank" and the work in doing that.

 

I like the idea, however, I believe presidents would be deranked; which would cause a lot of issues.

You'd either have to derank all the presidents, and give them 60k free to make up the difference they payed for president.

You'd also have to let tycoons+ get a town for 120k

And presidents would get a free town when they ranked back up to president.

 

I dont like the de-ranking idea, we should just let who is already a president remain such

 

I'd say 180k, and all presidents remain as president. Also 220k for president/3rd town. Otherwise, I'd want a 60k refund for my 2nd town.

 

I say no, andrew needs to add a use to nations first such as "/nation addmember derp derpville" and such, right now nations have NO use whatsoever except town-town portals pretty much.

As well with de-ranking, presidents were de-ranked at the time where they made it so you needed a second town, but now we have at least 500+ presidents and back then we had maybe 50-100+, and refunding would be very hard as well as deranking.

 

Just seems like a ton of work for no reason...

 

Presidents shouldn't be refunded... they should be able to purchase a town for 120k so it is even. Taking money is better than giving money from an economy.

 

Moofink has a good point. Essentially what Andrew could do is this -

Resident -15k
Mayor - 85k and 1 town.
Govenor - 180k and 1 town

220k - town 3​

President - 270k (The price of town 4) and 1 town.

This would make a bigger encouragement for buying server purchased towns.

Yes, some people would be deranked to Govenor and yes, some people would be unhappy. Yet, if you are already a President with 4 or more towns, you would remain a President.

 

..What if presidents had 8 towns already? Would they lose those?

 

As I suggested, if you have 4 towns already, you keep the rank and the towns. If you only have 3 towns, you derank and keep the towns.

 

I'd love to have this, since the President rank wouldn't be so meaningless and more special.

(And i'd get to keep president since i have 6+ towns xP)
