I disagree as it shows all our new players how to vote, and reminds them about it. It also tells users when they can vote again. If it werent for vote reminders I would never vote..

I however agree as it does spam our screens when doing various activity's. but the good of it outputs the bad.

Voting reminds will turn themselves off IF/WHEN you vote, and are ingame. I have never seen a issue otherwise, if you have one post a bug report, so the staff can investigate the matter.

This has been suggested before, and denied multiple times. I can almost guarantee you this will not be removed. This plugin helps the server get votes, move up on the server list, get more users, and you can buy things in the nether star shop, get money, and more. This plugin rarely bugs out for me, and when it does, you learn to ignore it.

 

-1 for the main fact that I use the vote reminder to remind me when I need to vote I find it very useful

 

Removing vote reminders would more than likely cause more harm to the server than it would solve. While I will admit that it can be buggy on occasion, but take the good with the bad. I myself use the voting reminder as my timer for when to vote, and with the exception of one/two days a month, it works for me as it says it would on the tin. As for why keep them, I know a lot of high profile users do not vote with the reminders, and some have even given me the reason "It doesn't spam enough for me to do it". Now, increasing its frequency would not be a good idea either, but it shows that there are users who have just learned to tune it out. The current vote reminder is a much better replacement over that last system, where it printed in chat what user voted, and the website, causing a lot of spam. In my opinion, this is the lesser of the evils and its frequency is fine to live by if you don't want to vote/cannot vote, and a good reminder if you do want to use it as such.

Honestly I don't mind the spamming of my screen. It just reminds me to vote when I need to so I don't miss a day :D

 

Who doesn't want to be reminded to get 6 nether stars closer to a melon sword???
But anyway, I think it should be kept just because it helps me remember to vote, which is the sole purpose of the plugin, so it must be working :3

 

To tell you the truth ( and after I say this it will never be true) i don't see the vote reminders :/

 

I also get spammed with vote remiders after I vote, the spamming dies down after like an hour, but it still stays there :/
Now i never beleive them when it says i need to vote... I just try and remember the time i voted the day before xD
