Interesting proposition, but if the person is banned already, thus needing the appeal, and lies on the appeal, they're not getting back in game anyhow... As for forum banning, their alleged lies are limited to the complaints/appeals forum section... it doesn't harm anyone. If they do engage in any rage activity throughout the forum, they may break other forum rules and that may land them a forum temp ban. I don't see the implicit harm in a less than truthful ban appeal, that moderators catch and deny.
Ocr The point is that there should be a consequence for lying in an appeal. There is none currently You can just keeping throwing $#! T at the wall and see what sticks
